Sharmoofers’ Lead Singer Ahmed Bahaa Lands His First Movie Role
The Lead singer and one of the founders of Egyptians-favorite band Sharmoofers just landed his first movie role in the thriller “Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo”
The movie story revolves around a man in his thirties, Hassan, who is involved in a serious accident with Rambo, his dog and only friend.
Overnight, Hassan finds himself chased by his neighbor Karim, with the events shifting to a very unexpected fate for Hassan and his dog.
In his first role, the singer will be joined by Essam Omar, Rakeen Saad, and Samaa Ibrahim.
The movie is the first feature film by Director Khaled Mansour, who co-wrote the movie with Mohamed El-Husseini.

Established in 2012 by Ahmed Bahaa and Mohamed Al-Arkan, Sharmoofers rose to fame quickly after they released their hit song “El Boxer” on YouTube.
The song quickly went viral due to the band’s creative genre which mixes pop, rock, and oriental in a captivating infusion!
In 2014, the band got on Bassem Youssef’s satire program “Bernameg El Bernameg” which gained them much-deserved popularity!
The band quickly rose to fame after releasing their first hit album “Paranoia”
