HH Sheikh Mohammed, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai is known for his charitable endeavors so it should come as no surprise to hear he has just awarded over AED33 million to taxi plate owners in Dubai.

The bonuses add up to a total of AED 33.285 million

The sum will be paid to Emirati owners of taxi number plates used by the Dubai Taxi Corporation and taxi franchise companies and will be paid to 6,657 owners.

The distribution of the bonuses will start from this week.

It concurs with the Year of Giving and the soon approaching Holy Month of Ramadan. It also illustrates the focus on providing a good living to all members of the community, and articulates the prevailing social solidarity concepts among individuals.”
