The Pearl Museum

Sultan Ali Al-Owais, the late Chairman of the National Bank of Dubai, was a connoisseur of pearls. His magnificent collection of natural Pearls is on display at this museum. After all, it was this stretch of coast that Dubai and Sharjah now sit on where some of the most prized pearls were found. To top it all, entry to the museum is free.

Coins Museum Bur Dubai

Due to its humble façade, you may stroll right by this museum without noticing it when traveling through the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood. But step inside and you’ll find some of the rarest Arabian coins including some that date back to the earliest days of Islam.

Bait Al Banat Women’s Museum

Sitting right adjacent to Dubai’s famous Deira Gold Souk, the museum is a celebration of women’s contributions throughout the country’s history.

History of Cinema Museum

The museum houses the collection of a Bahraini Lebanese Businessman, Akram Miknas, who was a passionate photographer. It’s one of those museums where the little ones won’t get bored, because who doesn’t love the cinemas? Right?
