Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai’s Chairman of The Executive Council, convened with leaders of diverse government entities and senior officials on Tuesday.

The gathering at Za’abeel Majlis is a regular part of Sheikh Hamdan’s interactions with officials across sectors to stay updated on their advancements in fulfilling Dubai’s strategic goals.

His Highness praised the advancements made in government operations, highlighting that achievements in success and excellence serve as additional motivation for continuous enhancement.

He further noted that the emirate’s governmental framework is dedicated to offering services with the utmost efficiency, speed, and quality.

Sheikh Hamdan mentioned, “The Dubai Economic Agenda D33, the Dubai Social Agenda 33, and the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan are initiatives crafted to guarantee the highest quality of life for citizens and residents.”

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed praises Dubai’s labour affairs committee achievements and commitment to global labour welfare standards in recent meeting

In the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan assessed the accomplishments of Dubai’s Permanent Committee of Labour Affairs and affirmed the government’s dedication to establishing the highest global standards for labor welfare.

In 2023, the Committee conducted 6,300 awareness sessions for delivery workers, emphasizing compliance with traffic laws, and organized 86 events for 154,000 workers in various sports and recreational activities.

Major General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, Committee Chairman, highlighted 33 inspection campaigns monitoring living conditions in labor accommodations and the distribution of 87,000 meals across labor camps. Bin Suroor also discussed the Taqdeer Award, initiated in 2016 to recognize entities prioritizing the well-being and working conditions of their employees.

He mentioned that the number of companies engaging in the Award, gearing up for its 6th edition in November, has experienced notable expansion, escalating from 236 in its initial edition to surpassing 3,000 in the most recent one.

Additionally, Sheikh Hamdan convened with the recipients of the Dubai Government Customer Happiness Index 2023 and Dubai Government Employee Happiness Index 2023, expressing gratitude for their contributions.
