Last night’s New Year’s Eve fireworks in Dubai were hands down the best in the world!

New Year’s Eve in Dubai is no small event. The combined efforts of 55 government and private entities within a committee worked in the spirit of one team in implementing the security, organizational and service plan that resulted in the success of the 2024 New Year’s celebrations and the successful completion of the event.

To pull it off, Dubai Police has assigned a team of around 6,000 policemen and 1,328 patrols to secure 32 fireworks sites in Dubai and Dubai Ambulance prepared for New Year’s Eve by deploying 178 ambulance vehicles, 4 marine boats, 556 paramedics, and 35 supervisors to cover 46 sites across Dubai including the 32 sites.

And people flocked to see the incredible fireworks, light and drone shows! From the iconic Burj Khalifa to the Palm Jumeirah, every corner of the city seemed to be competing in a friendly battle of who could shine the brightest. The sheer scale and creativity of the show left everyone in awe, and it’s safe to say that Dubai knows how to ring in the new year with a bang – literally!
