The Hessa Street project was one of the most important infrastructure development projects for the road network.
There are MORE upcoming road projects that will ease traffic!
Don’t worry y’all… the RTA’s got your back.
- Umm Suqeim Street: A 4.6km segment, connecting Al Khail Road to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, is due for a substantial makeover. The goal here is to support a capacity of 16,000 vehicles per hour, making rush-hour traffic a thing of the past.
- Al Khaleej Street: This street will see a 3km section transformed. Running from the Infinity Bridge ramp to Cairo Street. The project will feature three 1.65km underpasses. These underpasses are designed to handle approximately 12,000 vehicles per hour, offering a smoother and more efficient route for commuters.
So, good news – the RTA is hustling to make the Emirate a more relaxed and traffic-free place…
