Dubai Airports collaborated with the Dubai Autism Centre to make airport travel easier for those with autism. The agreement is in line with the UAE Vision 2021 and Dubai Plan 2021, which aims to make Dubai the world’s leading disability-friendly city. DXB is making all the right adjustments to make travel for those with chronic fatigue, PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and other hidden disabilities a bit smoother.
DXB and Dubai Autism Center have been working together this past year to make more inclusive adjustments and DXB earned an autism-friendly certificate in November 2022!

Travellers may obtain their sunflower lanyard at Terminal 3 Departures, Arrivals and Connections, Terminal 1 Departures and Arrivals and Terminal 2’s Departures and Arrivals.
Hidden Disabilities Sunflower stated on their website “The second phase of the roll-out will see additional, innovative solutions, including connected airports, quiet rooms, and an airport safari tour.”
