Phishing emails, a deceptive digital menace, have become an ever-present threat in the modern cyber landscape. Crafted to mimic legitimate communication from trusted sources, these insidious messages aim to trick recipients into revealing sensitive information, such as passwords, credit card details, or personal data.
Hence, Dubai Police released a warning to the public regarding the latest scams.
Residents reported a series of emails going around from “Dubai Police.” However, upon further investigation into the emails, it becomes evident that they are scams.
For one, the emails are sent from random email addresses that are NOT associated with Dubai Police. Secondly, these phishing emails include the “Dubai Police Academy” logo.
Dubai Police announced that these emails are scams and are URGING the public to not click on the link within them.
