Dubai Immigration Officers Allow Little Kids To Stamp Their Own Passports At DXB

New core memory unlocked!

This brother-sister duo hailing from the UK will deffo remember this warm welcome to DXB for years to come. On Tuesday, August 16, Lt Gen Mohammed Al Merri, director general of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai, was running rounds at the Dubai International Airport when he decided to surprise two children (Isobel, 9, and Charles, 6) returning to Dubai from their vacation in the UK.

The high-security passport control zone that easily intimidates the best of us left these siblings walking away with the biggest smiles on their faces.

Not only did the senior officer treat the kids to a passport stamping experience in the cabin, but also explained the entire immigration check process to the little curious kiddos
