Hence, is it any wonder that 67,900 millionaires, 202 centi-millionaires and 13 billionaires have made this skyscraper-studded city their “humble” abode? And that number is only set to snowball and gain momentum, with Dubai being expected to break into the top 20 wealthiest cities by 2030 (according to Andrew Amoils, Head of Research at New World Wealth).

Along with Dubai, the millionaire populations of Mumbai and Shenzhen are seeing an upward current as well.

A new report by Henley & Partners states that Dubai currently ranks 23rd globally with its highly diversified economy

Dubai’s multifarious commercial competency has given way to many strong key sectors, including basic materials, hotels, financial services, oil and gas, real estate, retail, and transport. The report goes on to reveal that “affluent parts of Dubai include Emirates Hills, Jumeirah Golf Estates, and Palm Jumeirah.”

As of now, the USA is dominating the world’s Top 20 Cities with the Most Millionaires in 2022, with New York taking the cake in the world’s wealthiest cities ranking. Tokyo came in 2nd place, followed San Francisco Bay Area and London.
