It’s all up, up and UP for Dubai!

Tourism? UP! F&B industry? UP! Entertainment? UP! Real Estate? Up! And school enrollments? Also, UP!

And here are some impressive stats to support that: Dubai’s private schools have recorded the highest-ever enrollment count, topping over 300,000 applications – resulting in a 4.9% growth from September 2021.

This means that a total of 303,262 students are enrolled in Dubai’s private schools, up from 289,019 in September 2021.

With over 215 schools offering 18 different curricula, the UK curriculum (35%) remains the top choice for students followed by the Indian curriculum (26%) & then the US curriculum (16%)

Students studying in private schools represent a total of 187 nationalities, which shows the vast cultural diversity of the emirate’s student community.

Key Dubai Private school stats:

• 215 schools
• 18 curriculums
• 32,883 Emirati students
• 187 student nationalities

The rise in school enrolment clearly reflects Dubai’s growing allure as a lifestyle, business and investment hub, which has enticed families from all over the world to relocate to the city

Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Director General of KHDA expressed:

“The record number of students reflects the trust and confidence that families place in schools. School leaders and teachers have come together and collaborated to work towards Dubai’s aspiration to provide every student with a high-quality education grounded in wellbeing.”
