Salik Gate Fares Will Still Be Imposed In Dubai During The Public Holiday On Saturday

Following Abu Dhabi’s update on free Drab Toll Gates, Dubai residents have been questioning whether or not Salik Toll Gates will be free of charge on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Holiday, October 8… and the answer is no. Motorists will be charged as normal when crossing Salik Gates on Saturday.

Side note: Al Maktoum Salik Toll Gate is FREE of charge for 24 hours every Sunday and Weekdays 10pm – 6am (Mon to Sat).

Abu Dhabi residents, on the other hand, will get to enjoy FREE parking and darb toll gates on Saturday for the Prophet’s Birthday

The Integrated Transport Centre announced that parking and tolls will be free tomorrow and start up again on Monday at 8 am.
