On Tuesday October 18, the UAE president provided $100million in humanitarian aid to Ukrainian civilians.
Reem bint Embrahim Al Hashimy is theMinister of State for International Cooperation. Also, shestated that the additional aid stems from the UAE President’s belief. Moreover, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed believes in the importance of solidarity in times of war and conflict. Hence, the UAE’s continued support to help the humanitarian impact in Ukraine.

Also, Al Hashimy mentioned the UAE has provided similar relief aid in recent months to Ukrainian civilians. In addition to sending planes carrying aid to Ukrainian refugees in Poland and Moldova. Moreover, this was in response to the urgent United Nations’ appeal. As well as, the regional refugee response plan in Ukraine.
The UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed is travelling to Russia to meet Russian President Vladimir. As news of the meeting unfolded, the UAE issued a report. The report affirms its support for efforts aimed at de-escalation of the crisis in Ukraine.
