Cinemas Restriction Lifted

Woohoo! The wait is over. You can enjoy your favorite movie in Cinemas again. National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has eased the restrictions on Cinemas

In a press conference, the NCOC Minister, Asad Umar, stated that restrictions will be lifted in eight towns, including Islamabad, Skardu, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Quetta, Peshawar, and Rawalpindi, starting Friday.

What did the minister exactly announce regarding the cinemas restriction?

Asad Umar announced the forum’s decision. He also said that corona limitations would now be enforced in cities according to the proportion of residents who have been vaccinated.

It is declared that 300 people will be permitted to attend indoor gatherings in certain communities, while 1,000 people will be allowed to attend outdoor festivities. In the meanwhile, temples and movie theatres will be reopened for fully vaccinated people.

What else is IMPORTANT to know!

Fawad Chaudhry, the Federal Information Minister, also issued a paper from the NCOC meeting session aimed at boosting vaccines by incentivizing districts that speed up vaccinations by loosening limitations.

The Covid-19 restrictions of remaining cities will be erased as soon they fall in the category of cities with forty percent vaccinated people of age fifteen and above.

Asad added that for vaccinated persons in the eight cities, shrines, and movie halls will be allowed to reopen on Friday, and that indoor gatherings of 300 people and outdoor gatherings of 1000 people will also be permitted.

By the 15th of this month, other cities with poor vaccination rates will be subject to the same restrictions as before. In his remarks on the occasion, Special Assistant on National Health Services Dr. Faisal Sultan remarked that the immunization campaign is going well.
