Makkah Is Currently Hosting A Major Quran Exhibition That Has An Array Of Rare Manuscripts On Display

Residents of Jeddah and Makkah have got a new place to explore this weekend. A Quran exhibition is being held by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance at the ministry’s branch in Makkah.

Entry to the exhibition is free and it will run for 14 days.

Coming to what you can expect to see at the exhibition include the process that the Quran is printed at the Quran printing complex, the efforts of the Saudi state in the preservation of the holy book and rare manuscripts including some of the earliest printed editions.

The King Fahd Quran Printing Complex that is part of this exhibition produces over 20 million copies of the Quran annually.

It has produced some 345 million copies of all issues since its inception in 1985.
