COVID-19 Travel: The List Of Approved Labs For COVID-19 Tests Has Been Increased
Previously, travelers wishing to visit the UAE or residents trying to return back were checking the PureHealth website for the list of UAE approved labs for COVID-19 testing, however Wam.ae has now announced it has expanded to all accredited labs by governments in countries around the world. So the lab where travelers will get tested will not need the UAE tick of approval, as long as the country itself approves it.
All travelers from countries must still register on the website of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship and the COVID-19 PCR test must be negative within 96 hours of the flight
The statement added that it welcomes the return of ALL residents who are residing abroad and emphasized the necessity of helping residents for the purpose of family reunification. Travelers will still need to fill in the health form, download the Al Hosn app and adhere to all other necessary requirements and procedures that were previously announced.
