King Salman Announced The 11th Of March As ‘Knowledge Day’
About an hour ago, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz announced that the 11th of March will be celebrated each year in Saudi Arabia as ‘Knowledge Day’
This date was chosen in correspondence to March 11, 1937 CE, when King Abdulaziz – may God rest his soul in peace – endorsed knowledge as we see it today in the kingdom.

Throughout the years, the kingdom has been putting on a lot of efforts and resources into the knowledge of its previous generations and the generations to come, believing in the power of knowledge in its nation, and in accordance with vision 2030.
One great example of this was the winning of Saudi students at the ISEF Fair, and how people on an Emirates flight were celebrating the Saudi students who won the International Mathematical Olympiad.
