It’s Official! UAE Nationals Can Travel To Japan Visa Free
The announcement first came on September 28, where the UAE announced that Emirati nationals can travel to Japan visa free. The initial announcement stated that they will announce the date at a later time. Well, that time is now, the UAE announced that nationals can travel to Japan without a visa starting November 1.
UAE BARQ announced that UAE Nationals can travel visa free to Japan on November 1
Those traveling to Japan will need a negative PCR test result taken 72 hours prior to their flight. However, if you have 3 COVID-19 Japan approved vaccine shots in your vaccine card then you do not need a PCR test.
Moreover, UAE nationals can stay in Japan for 30 days maximum.

The initial visa free announcement coincided with the 50 year anniversary of the friendship between the two countries
On September 28, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nayan met with the Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida, in Tokyo. During the meeting, His Highness witnessed the launch of a strategic partnership between the UAE and Japan. Moreover, the late Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announced the initial partnership agreement in 2018 in his visit to the UAE.
