UAE President HH Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Accepts Condolences From World Leaders In Abu Dhabi
The second President of the UAE, Highness Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan passed away on Friday, May 13. On May 14, the Federal Supreme Council elected Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed as President of the UAE.
HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan accepted condolences from world leaders and heads of their delegations yesterday in Abu Dhabi, over the passing of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan

World leaders arrived in Abu Dhabi to pay their respects. Leaders included His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimur Al Said of Oman; His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of Jordan; Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Egypt; Dr. Barham Salih, President of Iraq; President Kais Saied of Tunisia; and Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan Abdelrahman, Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereign Transitional Council.

Other leaders who expressed their condolences were leaders from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Lebanon, Algeria, Syria, and more
Delegations paid their respect but also congratulated the Sheikh on his election as President of the UAE.
