Avatar

The announcement everyone has been waiting for since March is finally here – Saudi Arabia has launched its coronavirus vaccination campaign.

The first consignment of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine arrived in the Kingdom earlier this week

The country has started its inoculation drive to end the outbreak after recording hundreds of thousands of infections since the start of the pandemic.

The Minister of Health, Tawfiq Al-Rabia, has also gotten vaccinated just to clear any concerns and doubts people could have over the safety of the vaccine.

Videos have been shared of the moments after the first batch of vaccination took place in Saudi Arabia.
