Avatar

Earth Hour is observed on the last Saturday of every March and brings together individuals, communities, and corporations to save electricity for 60 minutes as a symbolic gesture to support urgent change towards sustainable living worldwide.

Saudi Arabia also took part in Earth Hour this year

Many important buildings across the Kingdom went dark between 8 30 and 9 30 PM this Saturday.

The Financial Center and Al-Turaif district in Riyadh were some of the major places in Saudi Arabia who took part in Earth Hour.

Jeddah Municipality also participated

As did Ithraa Tower in Dhahran

As did Noor Riyadh

Earth Hour is a campaign that first took off in Sydney in 2007 and is organized by the World Wildlife Federation.
