Saudi Arabia strongly condemned the tragic attack at a bustling Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany, where a car plowed into a crowd on Friday evening, claiming at least two lives and injuring over 60 others.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the victims’ families and the German government, while wishing the injured a swift recovery.

The Kingdom also reaffirmed its unwavering stance against all forms of violence and acts that threaten peace and security
