Saudi Gears Up For Hajj Season With More Volunteers And Expanded Social Services!

With Hajj 2025 fast approaching, Saudi Arabia is already setting the stage for a seamless and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage season

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has unveiled a robust plan designed to enhance every aspect of the pilgrim experience — from visa processes to support services on the ground.

A key highlight? Work visas for Hajj and Umrah are now more accessible through the “Ajeer” platform, which streamlines permits for seasonal employment

This move aims to ensure that businesses supporting the pilgrimage are fully staffed and ready at all critical service points.

But it’s not just about logistics — it’s about heart.

The ministry is encouraging thousands of volunteers to step up this year, helping at border crossings, inside the Grand Mosque, and throughout the holy sites.

These volunteers will be offering guidance, distributing food and water, and supporting elderly pilgrims and people with disabilities with kindness and care.

In addition, Saudi is expanding its on-site social services

Pilgrims can access family counseling, as well as child hospitality centers managed by trained professionals, adding another layer of comfort for traveling families.

The community has embraced these efforts, praising the Kingdom’s thoughtful approach to one of the most sacred journeys in Islam — one that’s now being made easier, safer, and even more meaningful.
