According to the academic calendar from the Ministry of Education, the Eid al-Fitr holiday kicks off after the last classes on Thursday, March 28.
With Ramadan already underway since March 11, students will enjoy their time off coinciding with the final days of this sacred month.
During Ramadan, Muslims worldwide observe fasting from dawn till sunset, refraining from food and drink throughout the daylight hours.
Typically, work and school hours are adjusted to accommodate the Ramadan observances.
Additionally, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia announced a four-day holiday in April for Eid al-Fitr.
Starting from Monday, April 8, and with Friday and Saturday already designated as weekend days, Saudi residents can look forward to a generous four-day break to celebrate the occasion.
