For this Hajj season, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has introduced a new GPS navigation system to improve the experience for visitors, Umrah performers, and pilgrims.

This service includes an interactive digital map and a printed guide, both designed to make it easier for pilgrims to arrive and move around the Grand Mosque.
The map will help visitors navigate around the mosque

The interactive digital map helps visitors find important locations for religious rituals and landmarks, like the Mataf (circumambulation) area and the Sai area. With direct navigation through a digital interface, pilgrims can easily find their way to these sites without any hassle.
The mosque has also placed 200 QR code panels

To make navigation even simpler, 200 QR code panels have been placed throughout the Grand Mosque. Pilgrims can use their smartphones to scan these codes, find their current location, and get directions to their desired destinations. This system works with both iOS and Android phones, making it accessible to everyone.
The digital services will also be provided in a variety of languages!
The digital map also provides information on all the facilities available at the Grand Mosque. This includes gates, the library, restrooms, guidance offices, manual and electric cart services, escalators, and field hospitals. To cater to the diverse backgrounds of pilgrims, the map supports several languages such as Arabic, English, French, Urdu, Indonesian, and Turkish. This ensures that every pilgrim can easily navigate and enjoy a smooth and fulfilling experience.
