The Number Of New COVID-19 Cases Cross 3,000 For The First Time In 18 Months

Avatar

Saudi Arabia was able to reduce the number of new cases to around 30, but that all changed when the Omicron strain spread like wildfire over the world.

Saudi Arabia discovered its first Omicron case on December 1, and since then, the number of new COVID-19 cases each day has steadily increased.

They now are at 3045, which is the highest in almost 18 months now.

The kingdom has taken a number of measures to curb the spread including a laudable vaccination drive with booster shots now available to all over 16. So if you haven’t taken yours yet you can do so by logging on to the Sehaty app.
