Except on weekends, most shops across Saudi are not allowed to remain open past midnight. However, that may not be the case for long as shop owners will now be given an option to keep their shops open as long as they want.

The Saudi Gazette reported that this decision was announced on Tuesday by the Saudi Cabinet.
