The Kingdom is ready for this year’s Gulf Cup Of Nations (2017), an annual football tournament that’s set to take place on Dec 22nd in Kuwait. Initially, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE weren’t up to joining the tournament due to its inceptive location- supposedly in Qatar.

However, Kuwait was chosen as a last-minute change in order to proceed with the anticipated event by FIFA.

Saudi Arabia has won the annual tournament since 1970s for three times

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) announced on Saturday that the Kingdom would be taking part in the 23rd edition of the tournament. According to Arab News, there is no confirmation wether a ‘full-strength KSA team’ will go to Kuwait, the national team’s coach Juan Antonio Pizzi will meet with the SAFF to come to the best solution.
