Everyone In Saudi Arabia Is Being Encouraged To Take At Least 8,000 Steps A Day In This New Campaign

As January comes to an end, it is not uncommon for the new year spirit and the motivation to be more fit and healthy to start wearing off.

So if you are looking for a new source of motivation to keep you wanting to stay fit, look no further

The Ministry of Health has launched a national walking campaign to promote exercise in the Kingdom. And it is asking everyone to take a minimum of 8, 000 steps a day.

The campaign, #walk30, will last for four months and is already its first stage.

Expect a lot of awareness campaigns around a National Day for Walking is also to be scheduled in March

Also, an app is being launched where people can count their daily steps and also take part in competitions where winners get prizes.
