Three highly sought-after number plates- 111, 303 and 3333- will be auctioned by the Sharjah Police, the proceeds of which will be donated to the Big Heart Foundation, it was recently announced.
This is a one-of-it kind collaboration between Sharjah Police and the foundation that works for many humanitarian and girl child causes, and out of the total 55 plates which will be auctioned on April 21 at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre, the proceeds from these three prominent plates will be donated the charity.
People can also bid for other special two-digit and three-digit plates including 13, 3, 30, 44, 115, 131, 210, 311, 456, 500, 609, 696 and 990, and one six-digit number plate- 100000.
Bids for the numbers 111, 303 and 3333 start at AED150000, AED35000 and AED60000 respectively.
A press conference that was held at the Sharjah Police General Directorate Headquarters in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, chairman of the Sharjah Media Council and the Big Heart Foundation humanitarian envoy; Major-General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of the Sharjah Police; Abdullah Matar Al Mannai, chairman of the board of directors of Emirates Auction and Mariam Al Hammadi, director of the Big Heart Foundation, made the bidding announcement.
