The popular saying ‘accidents happen’ is simple but very true. Even when you least expect it, you could turn around and an unexpected accident could unfold. There’s another great saying that goes ‘Heroes don’t wear capes’ and in this story, both sayings go hand in hand.

A young boy saved his classmates life who had accidentally swallowed a coin at school

Ali Muhammad bin Harb Al-Muhairi, a young student in Sharjah showed remarkable heroism as he helped save his classmate’s life from a choking hazard! He acted quickly and bravely and thankfully, the crisis was averted.

General Saif Al-Zari Al-Shamsi, the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, commended and honoured Ali for his courage

Sharjah Police held a small ceremony at the station to honour Ali, showing how much the community acknowledge positive contributions to society, no matter how young you are!
