The national relief campaign “UAE Stands with Lebanon” has successfully gathered 250 tonnes of relief aid at Expo Centre Sharjah, with the efforts of 3,000 volunteers from diverse segments of UAE society. Organized by The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF) and Sharjah Charity International (SCI), the initiative has seen significant public participation under the supervision of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council.

Launched on October 8 per the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the campaign has received ongoing support from key leaders, including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Dignitaries such as Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi and Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi highlighted the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian work.
Mariam Al Hammadi, Director General of TBHF, praised the consistent public support, while Abdullah bin Khadem, Executive Director of SCI, noted that community involvement reflects the compassionate spirit of Emirati society.
The campaign has mobilized various UAE foundations and charities, including Emirates Red Crescent and Dubai Cares, aiming to provide essential supplies to families affected by conflict in Lebanon. Another collection drive is set for October 20 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, further reinforcing the UAE’s dedication to humanitarian assistance.
