A New Speed Limit Has Been Announced On Key Abu Dhabi Roads

Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) announced a new speed limit and partial road closure in 2 main areas of the emirate.

The speed limit on Al Saada bridge, on Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street, has been reduced to 80km/h in both directions due to road works taking place in the area

This will be implemented from June 23 until the end of December. Drivers are advised to use alternative roads such as Umm Yafina Road, Sultan bin Zayed the First Street, Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed street to avoid congestion on Al Saada Street Bridge.

ITC also announced the partial road closure of Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Road (E10) in Abu Dhabi

The road closure will be from Saturday, June 24 to Monday, June 26. The right lane of the road heading towards Abu Dhabi will be closed according to the announcement.
