Storm Victims In Libya Receive Condolences And Aid From The UAE

Following the torrential rains brought by Storm Daniel to Libya, thousands of storm victims in need of aid. The catastrophe unfolded as two dams succumbed to the excessive rainfall, causing a surge of water to inundate already flooded areas.

The UAE President H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed directed the UAE to send urgent relief aid to support the storm victims in Libya

Approximately 2,000 individuals lost their lives, and thousands remain unaccounted for. His Highness expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the State of Libya. Additionally, he expressed his condolences to Libya’s people and the families of the storm victims. Lastly, he wishes a speedy recovery for all the injured.
