There’s plenty of talk about sustainable living, about what small steps WE can do to lead a more sustainable life, but it’s amazing to see bigger corporations get behind one of the most important causes this generation will face.

Majid Al Futtaim, a Dubai-based retail provider with 26 malls, 13 hotels and 46 VOX Cinemas across 13 countries under its umbrella, has announced it will cut the use of single-use plastic by 2025.

So, wave goodbye to straws!

And along with that Carrefour, one of the region’s biggest hypermarkets will eventually stop providing plastic bags

The announcement was made at a press conference this week.

300 Carrefour hypermarkets will stop using plastic bags

A huge step and an effort to encourage shoppers to consider their own plastic consumption, we discussed the story on the Lovin Daily Live and one netizen added that she carries a cotton cloth for shopping…

It’s the small changes we all can make!

“I never take plastic bag from supermarkets. I always carry a cotton cloth bag with me for shopping . As for little thing I carry it in hand bag or purse but never carry those thin plastic bags …”
