People of the UAE are in a festive mood, currently enjoying the long weekend and gearing up celebrate the 47th National Day on December 2.
We often tend to get a little carried away when partaking in celebrations, so the Dubai Police is calling everyone to obey traffic rules, more so this long weekend.
People heading to JBR or any other busy areas to celebrate the National Day, listen up, these are the violations you should be aware of…
- Driving in a way that endangers safety of others will result in AED2000 fine, 23 traffic points and 60 days impound for the vehicle
- Stopping the vehicle in the middle of the road for no reason, AED1000 fine and 6 traffic points
- Driving a noisy vehicle, AED2000 fine and 12 traffic points
- Driving the vehicles in marches without obtaining prior approval/permission, AED500 fine, 15 days impound and 4 traffic points
- Making the car window tinting more darker without permission, AED1500 fine
- Writing words or putting posters on vehicle without permission, AED500 fine
- Using vehicle’s horns or speakers to disturb others, AED400 fine and 4 traffic points
- Blocking traffic, AED400 fine
- Throwing garbage from the vehicle, AED1000 fine and 6 traffic points
- Having blurred plate numbers, AED400 fine
