Residents in the UAE and other Arab countries decided to boycott the fast food chain restaurants after McDonald’s Israel shared that it would be donating meals to Israeli Military and medical personnel

McDonald’s and other fast food chains were boycotted by people in Arab countries.

Stock market value has since been plummeting and the McDonald’s Israel social media accounts appear to be suspended on Instagram and ‘X’.

McDonald’s in other Arab countries including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Egypt have all released similar statements, clarifying the owners of the franchises, all of which are local. Nonetheless, people believe that the mother company gets a cut from these franchises, thus supporting Israel. Others are expressing their disappointment in McDonald’s decision to send free meals to Israelis and not to Gazans.
