This is a fantastic ballet, following a sculptor who fell in love with his creation, a statue of a beautiful young woman. Prepare for drama as the role of the fierce creator is taken by a successful ballroom dancer who resolves to “sculpt” a virtuoso performer from a clumsy ordinary girl into a heroine.
The Pygmalion Effect is Boris Eifman’s first work in the genre of comedy in recent years, and it will show at Dubai Opera on November 7 and 8.
The Pygmalion Effect is a two-act ballet play which will run on Monday, 7 November and Tuesday, 8 November with different casts on each day.
