The First Emirati-Made Satellite Captured Stunning Shots Of Dubai From Space

KhalifaSat, the first fully Emirati-made satellite, took stunning pictures of Dubai’s landmarks from space, which Dubai Media Office graciously released to the public this week.

Among the landmarks were Burj Khalifa (of course), Downtown Dubai, Dubai Canal and more

KhalifaSat, also known as DubaiSat 3, is a remote sensing Earth observation satellite

It was fully built at the Space Technology Laboratories of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre in Dubai
