Dubai is a pretty amazing place to live, but let’s face it, every now and again, the running around and fast-paced lifestyle can become a bit much.
Yes, we have amazing weather and there’s always something cool to do, but sometimes, it’s nice (and really beneficial) to sit down, switch off and have some alone time.
We’re lucky that we’re surrounded by lots of amazing places to do this in Dubai, whether that’s the beach, a pamper sesh or just a beautiful setting for a meal and not to mention the spas.
We headed over to Tosa Spa in the Radisson Blue Hotel, Downtown because we were in need of a little TLC and boy, did we get it.
Here are three reasons you should take a break, and pay them a visit:
Which meant we were instantly greeted and welcomed. A therapist talked us through the services on offer and explained each in detail so we could choose the perfect treatment. After a thorough review, we opted for the Stress Buster – Obvs.
We were guided to our seats and provided with a hot drink, which was the perfect way to start winding down.
Each with a different purpose and different blends of pressure and areas of focus. There are also a range of body treatments, facials and relaxing rituals to help your body deal with stress and change. It’s definitely helpful for those who are always on the go, and even the couch potatoes – everyone needs a little TLC now and then!
Now, we’re rarely seen without phones in hand so it was difficult to switch off and our Therapist kindly allowed us to take our phones into the treatment room. This meant popping our heads up every few minutes and checking emails. Remember, we chose the Stress Buster with good reason! The massage was so good that 15 minutes in, the phone was down (sorry Boss!) and the massage did exactly what it said on the tin – stress well and truly busted.
We came out refreshed, only to find tea and a little plate of snacks waiting for us! Now, that’s what we call hospitality.
The rooms are gorgeous and it’s a lovely place to take your other half for a couple’s treatment (or drop hints because they should treat you!) The whole visit, from the welcome to prep and massage was wonderful. Switching off (even if reluctantly!) and relaxing every now and again is necessary, and Tosa is recommended for when you deserve a little treat.
