While the rest of the world was busy re-sharing memes on IG and binge-watching Netflix shows, these two teens were brewing up a genius plan that will later contribute BIG TIME to the development and enrichment of youth all over Dubai.

Students from Dubai College, Rayan Malik and Yousuf Zia, have launched a competition called The Global Entrepreneurship Challenge, that will blow your sock right off!

The competition will act as a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs from the ages of 11-18, to showcase their startup ideas to be able to gain recognition and support.

Candidates will have to present their startup ideas within the four categories – education, sports and environment, technology and health

According to Khaleej Times, the two youngsters had partnered up with a couple of MAJOR companies through their ThinkSmall-ThinkSmart startup to launch this competition.

The comp will see three phases:

  1. The online submission
  2. The pitch presentation, adjudicated by a panel of judges
  3. A grand finale on April 18, 2020

Malik and Zia believe that by providing this platform to aspiring entrepreneurs in the region, students will see it as an opportunity to create an impact and shape the future with their ideas

Also, the winning team of the competition will walk away with a hefty cash prize of AED5,000! Daaamn son!
