Cyclone Tej Is “Indirectly” Hitting Parts Of The UAE
While it’s sunny in Dubai, Eastern and Southern parts of the country are experiencing wind, heavy rain, and hail as Cyclone Tej intensifies.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology announced that Tropical Cyclone Category 2 is expected to deepen and become a tropical Cyclone Cat 3 today. The cyclone is moving in a northwest direction with a wind speed od 175 – 190 km/hr. The NCM is monitoring the developments closely and will continue to provide you with the latest developments.
The NCM urges people to follow the bulletins and reports issued by the center and not to spread rumours.

There is an indirect effect on the country by the flow of moisture from the Arabian Sea on the eastern and southern regions, which creates the chance for the formation of some cumulus clouds accompanied by rain.
