The First Saudi Female Arbitrator To Settle Commercial Disputes⚖️??

The Court of Appeal in Mekkah province confirmed the appointment of attorney Rabab Ahmad Al-Ma’bi as an arbitrator in an arbitration panel at the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration.  The Saudi lawyer, Rabab Ahmad Al-Ma’bi, became the first Saudi female to be a member at an arbitral tribunal.

Following this decision, Rabab participated in an arbitration panel to settle a commercial dispute between two companies in Jeddah. As reported by resources, the commission deliberated the case in several sessions and issued a ruling between the two parties in dispute.

Rabab Al Ma’bi holds a Master’s degree in Business Law, and she is the head of the board of an academic group for comprehensive training and consultancy.

She has been selected as a Goodwill Ambassador and Diplomatic Relations by the Peace and Diplomatic Relations Mission of the International Council for Human Rights, Arbitration, and Political Studies since 2014. She has received several accolades and international awards of excellence.
