Tennis Mogul Rafael Nadal Is Loving His New Ambassador Role For The Saudi Tennis Federation
Tennis has really been making its debut in the Kingdom over the past few years. Since 2019, clubs have upped in numbers by 146 per cent! Today, Saudi Arabia is home to 177 tennis clubs, 2,300 registered players, and over 1,000 under-14 players. The Saudi Tennis Federation also holds around 40 different national tournaments, and is only looking to grow.

Nadal was seen in smiles as he walked in to surprise a bunch of kids playing Tennis in Saudi. The video perfectly captured their excitement of welcoming one of the most legendary Tennis players to their hometown! Rafael is actually a well renowned champion and has won 22 Grand Slam men’s singles titles!
Saudi’s Minister of Sports also welcomed the player with utmost excitement

Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, Saudi’s current Minister of Sports, welcomed the player as an official tennis ambassador to the Kingdom’s Tennis Federation. He posted these pics of himself and the player rocking the biggest smiles, and the excitement of all the players fans in Saudi Arabia.
Rafael also posted his own heartfelt welcome to the new role
Growth and progress that’s important to see and the STF is working on that.
