Saudi’s New Reforms Means Schools Will Now Have Physical Education Classes For Girls
It’s back to school season in Saudi Arabia, and there’s a new reform for the girls as the Saudi government announces allowing physical education for girls in state schools this year.
Previously, Saudi women and girls weren’t allowed to practice sports and exercise in schools (in certain schools). However, reforms from this summer will now change this effective immediately.
This decision will surely benefit the kingdom’s more than 13 million women and girls
Thanks to Saudi’s HRH Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud, General Authority for Sports’ first female vice president, new reforms on women’s gyms and fitness centers will also be legal in 2017.
