The Kingdom Is Taking Precautions For Heavy Rains And Flood Risks This Year

In Riyadh, The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, arranged a workshop on how the Kingdom can deal with the high risks of flood and preventing issues with rain in the coming change of weather.

They also explored the four major themes:

According to Arab News, themes include flood emergency plan, launch of the ‘hazir’ (caution) app that is widely used in Riyadh, at the moment, the media plan and public awareness plan for disasters. 

To reduce issues of rainwater disposal, the ministry explored the emergency flood plan and preventative maintenance as well as the four themes.
