The Number Of Saudi Tourists To Turkey Is Falling Drastically And The Saudi Embassy Even Put Out A Circular To Warn Tourists
Saudi Arabia used to form one of Turkey’s biggest source of foreign tourists. But that has changed of late and the number of Saudi tourists to Turkey are dwindling by the day.
According to the Saudi Gazette, when compared to the last year, the decrease in the number of Saudi tourists in the first six months was a sizeable 33.2%
In terms of overall foreign tourist arrivals to Turkey, Saudis used to be at number four. They now stand at number 10.
This all started when Saudi columnists urged Saudis to stop visiting Turkey following several robberies and cons that Saudis were victim to.
The situation got so dire that even the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had to put out a circular to warn Saudi citizens.
