The FIRST Cinema In Saudi Arabia Will Open Very Soon And It’s VERY Exciting

Saudi celebrated the news of a cinema opening in Riyadh, back in October and the official opening date has been announced – and it’s soon. 

The AMC cinema will be opening its doors in King Abdullah financial district on April 18 – less than two weeks away!

Back in the 1970s, Saudi Arabia had several cinemas for the residents, but they were closed down by Saudi clerics. 

First player in the field 

AMC Entertainment is the first company to start growing its cinematic roots in Saudi Arabia, it was granted the licence to open 40 cinemas in 15 cities over the next five years.

The first screening 

Reports say that the first movie screening might be Marvel’s superhero movie Black Panther.
