A Popular Public Transport Route Is About To Get A Little More Expensive From December 1

Bus journeys within Sharjah will be costlier by AED1 according an announcement by the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA).

This will be implemented starting December 1

As of now, bus routes within Sharjah cost a flat fare of AED6  by cash and AED4.5 if they are using the Sayer card.

After the increase, commuters will have to pay AED7 per trip and Sayer card holders will pay AED5.50.
