Bahraini Runners Dash Across King Fahd Causeway For A Five-Day Run To Riyadh
Giving the ultimate display of cross-border unity, a determined group of runners from Bahrain embarked on a marathon journey across the King Fahd Causeway, aiming to reach Riyadh in time for Saudi Founding Day celebrations.

Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi made this video of the dedicated runners, as he confronted them asking about their journey. One of the runners explained that the team is making their way to Riyadh on foot, in honor of Saudi Founding Day on February 22nd.
There were even ambulances and escorts to make sure the runners are taken with safety
The snapchatter also wished them a pleasant journey, stating: “Welcome to the people of Bahrain, we are in a proud homeland and in a proud country.”
